Cedar Lodge Motel

The rooms were a little dated but renovated, clean and the bed was quite comfortable with great pillows and large smart TV; the shower was great and the towels quite soft. The restraunt was quite good breakfast was great; the evenings meals had a small BUT sufficient choice of what I would describe as meat and three veg, fish, and pasta. My first steak meal was a little done for me so for the second I emphasised medium rare but it still came out done. It was a nice meal just not quite to my liking BUT again it was more than OK. The staff were friendly opened the laundry for my quite late so I could iron my clothes no problem they were all very accommodating throughout my stay. I travel a lot nationally and internationally and relatively this was a good stay and value for money.

The room was so clean, with a fresh, newly made up room scent. Checking in was a breeze and the car park was an easy place to negotiate with clearly defined spaces for each room. The rooms are well appointed with everything you need and there are signs stating what is available from reception if required. And the rooms are so quiet! I thought I would hear traffic considering the location but I couldn’t hear anything!

It was a quiet place to stay. The gardens are beautiful. Friendly staff, very comfortable beds. We didn't use the restaurant but it looked good. Room serviced daily.

Clean, pretty, very comfortable accommodation. Restaurant on site very convenient and dinner was excellent.
